Nakilat and vessel charterer Qatargas announced the naming of the final four Q-Max LNG carriers. RasGas and EDF Trading has announced that the RasGas affiliate, Ras Laffan Liquefied Natural Gas Company Limited (3) has successfully delivered a spot sale LNG cargo to EDF Trading at the Montoir Terminal in France. Qatargas signed a MOU with CNOOC for additional long-term supplies of LNG to China. Santos announced that the PNG LNG Project participants have entered into a HoA with Sinopec. On 7 November 2009, Yemen LNG celebrated the first gas export. Chevron Australia and its joint venture participants, Exxon Mobil and Shell have commemorated the start of construction of the AUD$43 billion Gorgon natural gas project.
